Software Developer

Marwan Al Khasawneh

Software Development Engineer at Amazon MENA with previous experience at Aramex, Jawaker, and Arab Bank. My work has contributed to customer-facing products serving millions of users across the region, spanning backend systems, product delivery, UX research, and practical engineering workflows.

About

Building For Scale

At Amazon MENA, I work with the MENA Speed team on 2-hour and faster delivery experiences. My work focuses on UX-facing delivery speed improvements and integrating those speed offerings across Amazon's complex systems, which requires system design thinking, fast learning curves, and adapting across different tech stacks at scale.

Before Amazon, I worked at Aramex on logistics systems involving Google Maps and HERE Maps integrations for scheduling and routing use cases, including concepts such as geocoding and geofencing. That experience included maintaining legacy code and migrating parts of the system toward newer frameworks.

My UX research background at Jawaker gives me additional product context: usability testing, user journeys, user feedback, and the practical gap between what teams build and what users actually experience.
